Account Information: When you sign in with your Pi Account, we receive your public Pi username and unique Pi User ID to create and manage your account. You may also voluntarily provide a display username and Pi Wallet address in your profile.
Split Information: We store details about the bill splits you create or join, such as the description, amount, currency, and participant information.
Technical Data: We may collect anonymous data on how you interact with our service to help us identify issues and improve user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain our Service, including facilitating bill splits.
To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service.
To improve, personalize, and expand our Service.
To communicate with you for customer service and to provide you with updates.
To process your transactions and manage payments within the PallyPay ecosystem.
To find and prevent fraud and to ensure the security of our Service.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following situations:

With Service Providers: We use third-party services like Firebase (a Google company) to provide database, authentication, and hosting services. These providers have access to your data only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
With Other Users: When you participate in a split, other participants in that specific split can see your display name or username. Your Pi wallet address is only shared with the split creator when you choose to pay.
For Legal Reasons: We may disclose Your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

4. Data Security & Retention

The security of Your data is important to Us. We use Firebase's robust security features to protect your data. We will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use Your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

5. Your Data Protection Rights

You have the right to access, update, or request deletion of the information we have on you. You can update your profile information directly within the app's profile section. To request the deletion of your account and all associated data, you may do so through your profile settings or by contacting our future support channel.

6. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please contact Us.
